Andrew Magunda is currently the Country Lead for Palladium’s Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) Programme in Uganda, which aims to create a prosperous future for 230,000 young women and men in the Middle East, North Africa, Sahel & West Africa, and Horn of Africa regions. He has spent his last 17 years’ career to the service of youth in Uganda – founding two youth non-profit organizations. Andrew has served as an officer, team leader, director, consultant and board member in different organizations in the global North and south, extending youth economic opportunities in terms of entrepreneurial, financial, and business skills to 30,000+ youth in Uganda. He is a New Vision Top 40 under 40 nominee for his outstanding contribution to youth development in Uganda. He also contributed greatly to the formulation of Uganda’s first national financial literacy strategy. Andrew served as a global advisory committee member for GYEO conference 2011/2012.
