Michelle Wilson is the Director of Programs at WasteAid UK, a nonprofit organization focused on waste management and recycling in low and middle-income countries. With over 15 years of experience, Michelle has worked extensively in developing countries such as Chad, DRC, Ethiopia, Uganda, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania. She has been instrumental in developing significant waste management responses to textile, plastic, and organic waste across Africa and Asia, ensuring that some of the world’s poorest can make a meaningful living within the circular economy. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Conflict, Violence, and Development from the School of African and Oriental Studies and a Master’s in French and Business Studies from St. Andrews University.
