Abir

Abir Al Majiri is a Project Manager with extensive background in gender equality and community engagement in the Jordanian context. Starting her career with a focus on community engagement, Abir developed a deep understanding of the social norms affecting women's economic empowerment (WEE) and transitioned into gender and project management roles. At WUSC she was the Project Manager for the recently concluded WE-LEAD project, which focused on WEE in Jordan with TVET as an entry point, and is also the PM for the follow-on BUCRA program which will build on WE-LEAD with a focus on early childhood care and development (ECCD).
