Alenka

Alenka Zavasnik is responsible for Gigatonne programme development, delivery and collaborative partnerships and is part of the strategy team at 10 in 10. 10-in-10’s mission is to tackle ten global challenges in ten years, starting with the climate crisis and the initiation of Gigatonne. Alenka has 20 years experience working on international initiatives to support entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, young people, and change-makers in capacity building, resilient leadership, partnerships and community development. Alenka spent over a decade at CEED (Centre for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development) and SEAF emerging markets investment management group, working in their field office in Slovenia and HQ in Washington D.C. She has also spearheaded initiatives for growing entrepreneur networks in Southeast Europe and Africa, business accelerator and mentorship programmes for entrepreneurs, and worked on several multi-stakeholder entrepreneurship and employment projects.
