Chalachew

Chalachew Tiruneh is an international development programs management professional with 17+ years’ experience in managing youth, health, adolescent girls and young women, SRHR & Child health, HIV and GBV prevention, and governance focused development programs. He has technical, projects management, donor management, interpersonal and leadership skills coupled with ample knowledge in the field of public health, adolescents & youth development, higher education and good governance that brings pragmatic change for advancing equality among children, adolescents and youth in sub-Saharan Africa. Chalachew has assumed Chief of Party and senior Technical director positions in Zambia prior to his assignment in Kefeta. He has also been a Youth Advisor in USAID Ethiopia for over four years before he left to join the US Global health team as a Global Health Fellow. Chalachew is currently the lead for Kefeta as a chief of party under Amref Health Africa.
