Femi Oye is a Nigerian entrepreneur and the Co-Founder/CEO of SMEFunds. He also leads Green Energy & Biofuels (GEB) and GoSolarAfrica. With over 15 years of experience, Femi has significantly impacted small businesses and enterprises across Africa. He is known for promoting clean energy solutions, including off-grid solar systems and bioethanol from waste biomass. Femi launched Africa’s first carbon trading platform for domestic emission offsets, making clean energy accessible to low-income households and businesses. Femi holds a degree in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Management from KTH University and a graduate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. He is a member of several professional institutions and has received numerous awards, including the World Youth Leader’s Award.
