Genet

Genet Lemma works with Amref Health Africa as a Senior Technical Director for the Integrated Youth Activity. She has 18 years of development experience in Africa and more than 12 years of experience in designing, managing and implementing youth development programs. She is passionate about positive youth development, youth led programing and innovation for impact.  She has proven expertise working with governments, partners, local organizations, NGOs, private sector and key stakeholders on large-scale initiatives and has made significant contributions to strengthening local governments and, comprehensive and cost-effective youth empowerment programs at all levels. Genet holds a Bachelor’s degree in social science with a focus on rural development and a Master’s degree in psychology.
