Hans Muzoora is a Multi-Sectoral Economic Development Expert with extensive Africa and Program Management experience an experienced Market Systems development professional, with over twenty-five years of leadership in the international development field inspiring and influencing change in policy and programs and collaborating with others to build evidence of what works to reduce poverty. Currently he serves as the Market Systems Finance Officer on the Agriculture Finance Team in the Market Systems and Finance Division, Center for Ag Led Growth within the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security (REFS) at USAID. In this capacity he provides technical advice to REFS, other Feed the Future agencies, and USAID Mission staff on policy and program issues related to agricultural finance and accessing private capital for agriculture and nutrition investments, tackling systemic gaps of access to finance and on strengthening market and trade institutions, platforms, and actors. Over the past 25 years, through engaging, consulting, and collaborating with high-level decision-makers in government, international institutions, academia, and civil society, Hans has provided insights on people-centered programming to enable real and lasting systems change.
