Lilian Sospeter is a passionate activist dedicated to advancing youth rights and meaningful engagement, particularly in livelihood, education, and health sectors, with a special focus on climate change, economic empowerment, and sexual reproductive health. Lilian Ccrrently leads engagement and leadership initiatives as a Youth Engagement Officer at the VSO Tanzania office. With a strong background in community service, Lilian previously volunteered for two years as a Business Development Service Officer, where she facilitated the growth of local entrepreneurs' businesses while promoting gender equality awareness and empowerment for women. Her impactful contributions led to her nomination for the VSO Livelihood Volunteer Award in 2019, where she emerged as a top finalist. She represented Tanzania's National Youth Engagement Network (NYEN) at the VSO Global Youth Engagement Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand, showcasing her commitment as a youth champion. Her leadership journey includes participation the Women Deliver Young Leader Class of 2020-2023, the Afresist Youth Leadership Program 2019, the International Citizen Service (ICS), and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Young Leaders Program.
