Catholic Relief Services Lightening Talk: Transforming Youth Agriculture

Olivia Rasolomampianina is the Chief of Party for the TSIRO Alliance project, a USAID public-private partnership under the USAID HEARTH initiative led by CRS in collaboration with four private sector companies and two technical partners. TSIRO, under CRS larger SPICES initiative focuses on strengthening cacao and spices value chains to be more sustainable and impactful for famers, communities and the environment. The project has a major focus on providing opportunities for youth or next generation farmers to participate and benefit from stronger systems along the value chain, particularly around production, processing and marketing. With over 8 years with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Olivia has held key roles including Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability (MEAL), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) where she has championed digital technologies for agile project management.
