Phillippa Mary Omolo is a recognized leader in youth employment, with extensive expertise in research, labor market dynamics, and value chain management. She’s the current Private Sector Engagement Expert for Kenya’s Dual TVET Project and has led pivotal labor market analyses in Mombasa, fostering sustainable youth employment initiatives. As a former co-chair of the Mombasa Youth Partnership, she collaborated with UN agencies and the Kenyan government, uniting over 88 stakeholders to create job opportunities for youth. Her contributions to the Ajira Digital Program have significantly impacted youth employment, leading to the founding of The Hillock Global Enterprise. Phillippa’s personal experience as an opportunity youth informs her strategic approach to designing effective labor market interventions, while she continues her professional development at Strathmore Business School.
