Pia Saunders Campbell is a mission-driven leader passionate about connecting people with opportunities that support them on their journey. Pia has 20 years’ experience working in community development and the nonprofit and private sectors, specializing in youth development, measurement, evaluation, research & learning (MERL), and systems thinking. She serves as Director of Strategy & Technical Services at the International Youth Foundation, where she leads a team of technical specialists and drives the global growth strategy of the organization. Pia is an Advisor to the Youth Friendly Standards, which was launched by a Senegalese youth-led organization, Consortium Jeunesse Sénégal, and is supported by UNICEF, WeBridge Africa, Generation Unlimited, The Mastercard Foundation, the European Union and the International Youth Foundation. Pia has worked in the youth and community development, economic growth, and emergency response fields in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the USA.
