Roksana Sultana is a pioneer leader and a profound advocate in Bangladesh, dedicated to breaking the culture of silence against Child Sexual Abuse. She has dedicated her life to fighting for children and women's rights and empowerment. As the founder member of Breaking the Silence since its inception in 1994 and as present Executive Director, she has spearheaded efforts to empower adolescents and youths as anchors in addressing Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence issues in their respective communities. Roksana prioritizes marginalized communities such as the tea garden community, Munda, Cawra, Rishi, and those affected by climate displacement. She focuses on transforming and localizing leadership by capacity building of adolescents and youths, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, engaging them in Green Business initiatives while empowering them for social development. Roksana's vision extends to creating a violence-free society for children and women of different backgrounds, including race, class, and sexuality, with a particular emphasis on youth leading the climate-adaptive green business world through innovative ideas.
