Salwa has an excellent record of successfully guiding organizations through significant periods of change, often involving major restructuring and reorganization to implement new technology, partnerships, innovation, and processes. Salwa recently served as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Injazat Middle East, playing a key role in enhancing the digital future of the United Arab Emirates. Salwa also spent more than 14 years at Microsoft, commissioned with heading and building the Microsoft Western Europe Windows and Surface business, after which Salwa became the Government and Smart City Industry leader at Microsoft Middle East and Africa. Salwa led the Cloud and Artificial Intelligence country plans with the governments of South Africa, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan and Kenya.
