Zelalem

Zelalem Belayneh has worked with both Government and Non-Government Organizations, where he accumulated a wealth of practical experiences on designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of development and humanitarian programs related to market system and economic development interventions, agricultural value chain and enterprise development, youth empowerment, work force development, emergency and humanitarian development program. Zelalem is currently working on a USAID youth project, implemented by Amref as Social Grant and SACCO Advisor. Before that he has worked for working for Mercycorps and DAI with different capacities on USAID and DFID funded projects where he gained extensive experience on project management, conducting research/assessments, piloting and scaling up of need-based innovations, developing partnership and working with various public, private and community-based organizations, managing cost shared grants, designing and facilitation of technical trainings and documentation of lessons for adaptive learning. Zelalem has M.Sc. Degree in Rural development and Agricultural Extension.
